A hometown paper, built for how people read now

Bothell deserves a publication that treats local news as a service: what the city decided, what the schools are doing, where to be this weekend, and which neighbors are opening something new. Howdy Bothell is being built to be exactly that.

Our editorial philosophy

• Useful first. Every story should leave you knowing where to look, not just what happened.
• Trustworthy sourcing. Facts come from official documents, verified organizations and named sources — always cited.
• Human editorial review. Every submission and story passes through an editor before publication.
• Friendly community storytelling. Local news can be warm without being soft.
• Clear separation. Editorial content and advertising are always visually and organizationally distinct.

Where we are

The site you're reading is a design foundation with demonstration content. The newsroom, newsletter and directory open as each part is built and reviewed — we won't publish real news until the editorial workflow behind it exists.
